A battery shell adds a lot of weight and thickness to a phone, which can be disturbing in everyday use. Mophie Juice Pack Air – with an ace up its sleeve
It is impossible to talk battery shell without mentioning Mophie. They have made the battery shell since time immemorial (well, at least since the iPhone 3G in 2008) and have a bunch of models on the market today. One of them is last year's updated Juice Pack Air, which in its latest garb for Iphone 7 lost headphone jack (when it disappeared from the phone), but instead got wireless charging.
The shell also has a micro-USB port traditional charge – which also means that Lightning-trick does not work here.
The model for the iPhone 7 offers a full charge, 7 Plus model only 60 percent extra. Here you can read our test of the gadget, and two of the accessories for wireless charging (see picture), which Mophie also sells.
Price: 800-1000 million depending on the model.
