Assistant is Google's answer to Siri, Alexa and Cortana. Microsoft's voice-activated assistant already exist for both Android and iOS in addition to Windows, and now Google Assistant also be heading to iOS.
geekster reports that Gummi Hafsteinsson, product manager at Google, was asked about it at the Mobile World Congress and answered:
– I do not think we have anything to present right now. But I believe our philosophy is that we want to do Assistant available to as many people as possible.
Google Assistant is in many ways more advanced than competitors, particularly by understanding the context, so that the user can ask supplementary questions.
