It should be said directly – the whole thing with this mouse pad is that it is stylish. With its cool design in aluminum, their polished, beveled edges that gathered directly from the iPhone 5S, and that it is available in all the "Mac-colors" allows it to fit perfectly in an Apple environment.
So how far are we prepared to go to "Macifiera" workplace? (You can get far if you want, here are eight such gadgets that matches the Mac). How well does actually a postcard of aluminum?
Actually, this is more of an album than a carpet. It is naturally not as flexible as a traditional mouse so requires that we place it on a flat surface to wiggle it a lot. The aluminum also sounds a little more than a standard carpet when we hover over the surface.
Satechi-mat is thin and (sometimes too) cool, with a surface Satechi mean is "extra smooth." We do not think it excels in any way, but very reminiscent of aluminum on a Macbook . The surface is slightly rough so we get some friction. A little too much friction, we think, but it's probably mostly a matter of taste and also depends on the mouse that we use. On the bottom is a pair of thin rubber feet that keep it in place.
Do not: Make cuttings simpler with Paste – a must for Mac
Good precision with the right mouse
With around 25 times 21 centimeters surface, we think the mouse pad is large enough for most needs, except perhaps for gaming. On the other hand, we do not believe that gaming is the main aim for this mouse pad, although Satechi claims it will do perfectly well for it.
We test the carpet along with a Microsoft mouse that has Microsoft's BlueTrack technology, and it works flawlessly. The precision is fine and we do not feel that the different surface affect the tested mouse in any way. The manufacturer claims that the type of mouse anywhere – laser, optical or roller ball – will work great, but where we are not really. We also tested with an old optical mouse, and it did not work at all. Some mice seem to be a bit fussy of the smooth aluminum surface.
We have not had the opportunity to test the mouse pad together with Apple's Magic Mouse 2 but since it is on all the product images into the mouse pad, we would be surprised if it did not work .
