Apple CEO Tim Cook is, unlike US President Donald Trump, a supporter of globalization. During a trip to China, he expressed his feelings about the matter, but also on international relations.
"I think the worst thing would be to, because it does not help anyone, say that it is bad and do less of it . I think the reality is that you can see the countries in the world … that isolate themselves, and it is not good for people, "he said, among other things, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The comment came during a meeting at the China Development Forum – a conference organized by the Chinese government. Besides talking economics touched Cook also cyber security and user privacy. Both are sensitive topics in China, which criticized human rights on several occasions.
