Then came the new gadgets anyway. After the Apple Store was down for half Tuesday launched, unexpectedly and without warning, a series of new products. Apple has invited to our event the last two years (and a few times before it too), so probably we thought it would be so again this year.
But it skipped Apple, and opened rather than store again Tuesday afternoon with more iPhone-scale, new bracelet, a charitable product Red Iphone, an old-school budget toad – and a videoapp
a whole bunch of products, but none of them provide good answers to important questions about Apple priorities.
Apple's budget-toad does not point out a new direction
Apple's new iPad simply called – Ipad. Apple calls the addition of a fifth-generation iPad here and there on his website. The fourth generation was launched in autumn 2012, since then the iPad name without a number or Pro semi lain dormant until today.
iPad has a lot left to prove. Therefore it is also strange that they chose to renew its iPad series with slimmed budget model. Ipad has, admittedly powerful, but the old A9 processor (not A9X). It lacks Pro-sibling colorful, anti-reflection treated laminated screen – and can not be used with either the Apple Pencil or Smart Keyboard.
Is this the product that will turn Apple's steadily declining iPad sales?
Although it is not the past that sits under the hood here, the hardware is adequate for things like Netflix, email and FaceTime. It can certainly attract one another to upgrade its aging toad, but if Apple is serious Ipad there must be more. And not only in the form of old-school hardware.
The challenge now for the iPad is mainly in the IOS. With the IOS 9 got the toad several iPad-exclusive news as split-screen, and improved support for keyboard. It is time for a new iPad-venture in IOS 11 – it is not even time for an iPad OS? There, we hope that the WWDC 2017 and IOS 11 gives more answers about Apple's vision for the post-PC world now sees before him.
Apple strongly believe Ipad series as replacement of the laptop, and the fifth generation ipad certainly seems to be an affordable update. But it offers nothing new, developed in response to what a computer for the masses to be 2017.
