Britain and the US have decided that electronics bigger than cell phones may not be taken on flights from selected countries. Until now, the cause unclear, but the British The Guardian may be a contributing factor on the tracks. The newspaper reports the fact that there were plans to hide a bomb in a fake iPad.
"One reason was the discovery of a plan to reduce a plane with explosives hidden in a fake iPad that was suspiciously similar to the original. Other details, such as the date, the country that was involved and the group behind, is still secret, "writes The Guardian. Ipad-bomb should not, however, be the whole reason for the controversial ban.
The fake tablets flourishes is nothing new. It is common in China, for example, where the pirates are copying Apple iPad, and sells devices for the money far below the original price. Bombs that look like tablets, however, something completely new.
