Clip – Apple's app videos in social media, was released last week. Now, reports TechCrunch that it must have been downloaded between 500,000 and a million times in just four days.

However Interest appears to have cooled, and the clip has not even reached the App Store top charts – despite the fact that Apple has given the best seat among the store's ads. Instead, the highest climbing to Plas 28, according to figures from App Annie.

In the case of a rapidly dying interest, or if Apple actually succeed in life in the long term, remains to be seen. The app has at least received many positive reviews from users who endeavored to download and review.
