According to Apple, Face ID should not only be faster than Touch ID, it should also be much safer. Now Wired reports an incident that may cause Apple to put the apple into the trachea – a child has successfully unlocked her mother's phone with Face ID.
The child in question is the boy Attaullah Malik who is in fifth grade. Apparently, he is as good as his mother Sana Sherwani that Face ID released him again.
We're testing Iphone X: At last something new from Apple!
What's extra interesting is that when Sana Sherwani re-registered his face, the son was ported from phone. When, on the other hand, she did it, indoors when it was dark outside, the problem was repeated. It was by no means the same light conditions when when she registered Face ID for the first time.
Now this will not hurt everyone, but it's worth pointing out – even though Face ID works fine in darkness, technology increases if you records your face in good light. Hopefully, Apple will fix the bug in the near future.
