Director Steven Soderbergh is famous for making both large audience magnets and artistically challenging films. He won the gold palace in Cannes with Sex, Lies, and Videotape in 1989, but most of them know him more from Ocean's Eleven and its sequel, Erin Brockovich, and Magic Mike.
This summer he filmed a new movie with great secretiveness. Unsane, as it's called, will be premiere in ours, but Deadline already reveals that the movie was recorded during an intense week – and only with Iphone as a camera. Because Iphone 8 and X had not been released, it was probably the Iphone 7 Plus as a camera.
According to Deadline, the recording went much faster than usual for long films, and Soderbergh began to cut and edit already in place immediately after different scenes had been filmed.
