The analyst Loup Ventures has found out how much money Apple is spending on streaming video compared to competitors like Amazon and Netflix.
For 2018, Apple's budget is $ 1.5 billion, which is exactly the same much like Amazon puts on its original productions. Netflix, for its part, spends twice as much, ie $ 3 billion.
The forecast for the next five years says Apple will increase its video budget by 54 percent per year, compared with 41 percent for Amazon and 18 percent for Netflix. In other words, it's only a matter of time before Apple spends more money than Netflix on the segment.
So far, much of Apple's spent billions are not noticeable, but a few months ago, it appeared that new episodes of Amazing Stories is on time. In addition, it is said to be a new drama series with Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon in the lead.
