Earlier this year, Apple launched a new 9.7-inch model of Ipad. We generally celebrated the product and called it the company's most affordable product ever. With a price of only 4,000, you got a lot of performance for the money, and we like that. But it's getting more, what it seems.
According to sources of Taiwanese Digitimes, Apple is planning to release a yet cheaper version of its tablet, which also has its 9.7 inch format. According to the newspaper, the device is aimed at both companies and extra-price-conscious customers, and in the US it costs as little as $ 259 – equivalent to just under 2 200. Of course, what an exact price could land in Sweden is not yet known. No specifications about the cheaper Ipads have come to mind.
Surfboards generally go through a tough period right now, as is the case with Android variants. A really cheap Ipad could compete with companies like Huawei, Samsung and Lenovo, notes Digitimes. A possible launch window is also available: Second quarter 2018.
