Anyone who adds a few hundred to a usb-c to lightning cord and a usb-c charger (alternatively uses the charger from a Macbook Pro 2016 and later) can enjoy significantly faster charging than with previous Iphone models.
Particularly welcome this is on Iphone models with larger batteries like Iphone 8 Plus and Iphone X, which charge very slowly with their included charger. 30 minutes fast loading will give 50 percent more power from zero percent, which proved to be very good.

But fastest in class is not Apple's fast download. In a test of Tom's Guide, Apple's 2017 models all charge faster than Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Google Pixel. But the first and second places are snapped by the LG V30 and Oneplus 5T, where Oneplus is 59 percent in 30 minutes, compared to just 50 percent for Iphone X.
Perhaps some percent extra battery power at fast loading is not crucial when buying, But it's interesting to see how fast the fast loading really is here. The entire test can be read on the Tom's Guide.
