The market for streaming TV, dominated by giants like Netflix, Amazon and Viaplay here in the Nordic region, is something Apple has watched in the last year. The company is currently working on several new series for its new platform, and now they choose to hire one for the veteran in the area.
The new acquisition is Michelle Lee who has long knowledge in television programs. Variety was first on the ball to report and write that Michelle Lee worked on several popular comics for various companies, including Universal Television.
Michelle Lee has also worked as an executive producer for Pure Genius at CBS, Rise on NBC, The Path at Hulu, About a Boy at NBC and many more.
Michelle Lee is not Apple's only recruitment from TV world. They have also employed Jamie Ehrlicht and Zack Van Amburg from Sony and several managers from WGN, Channel 4, Amazon Studios, and others.
