Ming-Chi Kuo on KGI Securities has released a new report to investors reporting 9 to 5 Mac.
He goes against the power saying that the sale of Iphone X goes slower than expected. While other analysts have forecasts of 20-30 million units in the first quarter of the year, Ming-Chi Kuo says it's leaning against 18 million units.
Slow sales will mainly depend on China, where consumers do not upgrade as often as possible.
At the same time, the analyst repeats its earlier data that Apple plans three new Iphone models this year, all of which will get Face ID: two odd models of 5.8 and 6, 5 inches, as well as a cheaper lcd model of 6.1 inches. Current Iphone X will stop being manufactured instead of being kept at a lower price.
