For some time, Facebook has tested pay-per-view, or rather a feature that allows newspapers and other sites to make a certain amount of items available free of charge before users begin to ship to a payment wall.

So far, the feature has only been enabled in the Android app, but now Recode reports that Facebook has reached an agreement with Apple and will enable the feature on IOS.

It's unclear if Apple tried to keep on takes 30 percent "policy or if anything else, but Facebook does not charge a fee for the feature without sending users to the site's own subscription pages.
